.

The Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations (TDGR) is a federal legislation enacted to promote public safety. These regulations require shippers, carriers and handlers to meet specific standards when preparing or transporting dangerous goods.

.

.

Who must be trained?

Any person handling, offering for transport or transporting dangerous goods must receive appropriate training (specific to the mode of transport used). This training must be updated every 24 months for air transport and 36 months for surface transport.

Proper training is based as much on teaching as on practicing. For this reason, our courses maximise situation based learning in order to better prepare your employees to face every day situations.

For our dangerous goods transportation courses we use a stepping stone concept (8 steps to compliance) that allows students to learn a procedure that TDGR-training-dangerous-goods-books-montrealwill enable him/her to prepare, handle or inspect shipments to ensure full compliance with federal and/or international legislations.

.

Students receive a copy of our TDGR guide book specific to the mode of transport and/or subject matter.

.

All trainees that successfully complete the program will receive a training certificate meeting Transport Canada requirements.
